The built-in Agenda and Meeting Management Select (formerly CivicClerk)OneDrive function allows you to upload files saved to a OneDrive for Business account as agenda item attachments. This article will explain the functionality of this feature.
Important Notes
- The OneDrive function is automatically enabled for your Agenda and Meeting Management Select site.
- The OneDrive function is for adding attachments only. You cannot use it to publish agenda files.
- You must use publicly accessible URLs (Uniform Resource Locators) in the OneDrive Shared File Link field for the function to work.
- URLs must originate from a OneDrive for Business account, not a personal account.
OneDrive Functionality
With this function, you can store and edit attachment files in OneDrive and have them pulled into Agenda and Meeting Management Select. The OneDrive function is available on the Item Files page. Within the Add Attachment modal's OneDrive tab, you can input a public OneDrive shared file link. You can also set the attachment's name, Public Portal visibility, and confidentiality.
When a packet that uses the associated attachment is created, the system pulls the most recent version of the file from OneDrive. The OneDrive document will be listed as an attachment for the item, just like any other uploaded attachment. There is also a link to the document in OneDrive for editing.
