To ensure that every voting member within the Board Portal can participate in the voting process, we have introduced a Manual Vote button. This feature provides a seamless and reliable voting experience to users who do not receive the automated vote popup. This article will explain how the manual voting button works and help you make the most of this new functionality.
Important Note
The Manual Voting function will be automatically activated for all customers with Live Meeting Manager on August 25, 2024.

Find the New Manual Vote Button
Users will now see an e-vote button in the toolbar at the top of the Board Portal.
The button will be visible on any screen in the Board Portal, including the Minutes, Agendas, Notes, and Media pages, after the user has been marked as "Present/Voting." It will be visible even if other meetings are accessed.
No Manual Vote Button on the PDF Reader
The new Manual Vote button will not be visible within the PDF Reader.
This includes anywhere a PDF is opened in a separate tab from the following locations:
- Opening with the Agenda or Packet buttons
- Opening a PDF attachment
Manual Vote Button Functionality
If a vote has been initiated, the user may use the manual E-Vote button to vote when the automatic voting popup fails, or if they did not receive the automated voting popup dialog.
If a user tries to use the Manual Voting button when there is no current vote that has been initiated, then the user will get an "Oops! There is no ongoing vote that you can cast" message. A user will also receive this message if they try to vote again or change their vote once they have already voted in an initiated session.
