Group snippets can be used to organize snippets into customizable subgroups, making it easier to find and manage snippets during the creation process. This article will show you how to create, edit, reorder, and delete group snippets.

Create a Group Snippet
- Sign in to the system if you have not already
- Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option
- Click the Meetings tile
- Click the Text Snippets tile
- Scroll to the Group Snippets section
- Click the New Group Snippet button
- Fill in the Add New Group Snippet fields
- Snippet Name (required): Enter a name for the group snippet
- Type: Select the type of content that this snippet should apply to from the dropdown list
- Click the Add New Group Snippet button
- The group snippet has been created
Edit a Group Snippet
- Sign in to the system if you have not already
- Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option
- Click the Meetings tile
- Click the Text Snippets tile
- Scroll to the Group Snippets section
- Click the Edit tool (purple pencil icon) to the right of the group snippet you wish to edit
- Update the Edit Group Snippet fields as desired
- Snippet Name (required): Edit the name for the group snippet, if desired
- Type: Select the type of content that this snippet should apply to from the dropdown list, as desired
- Click the Save Changes button
- The group snippet has been edited
Reorder Group Snippets
- Sign in to the system if you have not already
- Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option
- Click the Meetings tile
- Click the Text Snippets tile
- Scroll to the Group Snippets section
- Click the Edit Order button
- Click and hold the grid icon(s) to the left of the desired group snippet(s) and drag and drop the snippet(s) into the preferred order
- Click the Save Changes button
- The group snippets have been reordered
Delete a Group Snippet
- Sign in to the system if you have not already
- Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option
- Click the Meetings tile
- Click the Text Snippets tile
- Scroll to the Group Snippets section
- Click the Delete tool (red trash can icon) to the right of the group snippet you wish to delete
- Click the Delete Group Snippet button on the Delete Group Snippet popup that appears to confirm the deletion
- The group snippet has been deleted
Add a Text Snippet to a Snippet Group
- Sign in to the system if you have not already
- Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option
- Click the Meetings tile
- Click the Text Snippets tile
- Navigate to the desired Snippets section
- Click the New [Type] Snippet button to create a new snippet, or click the Edit tool (purple pencil icon) to the right of the snippet you wish to assign to a group
- Fill in or update the Snippet Name and Snippet Text fields as necessary
- Snippet Name (required): Enter or edit the name of the snippet
- Snippet Text: Enter or edit the text of the snippet
- Click the Snippet Group dropdown and select the snippet group you wish to assign the snippet to
Note: The options available in the Snippet Group dropdown will depend on the group snippets you have created and the content types you have assigned them to. - Click the Save Changes button
- The text snippet has been added to the selected snippet group
