Manage Publication of Agenda Items on the Public Portal

The optional Publish Unlocked Agenda Items setting allows users to control whether unlocked agenda items appear on the Public Portal. This gives administrators more flexibility over what content is publicly visible.

 

When the Publish Unlocked Agenda Items setting is toggled to 'Yes,' unlocked items are included as part of the published agenda on the Public Portal. When it is toggled to 'No,' unlocked agenda items are hidden from the Public Portal, "Agenda Item Pending" placeholder text is shown instead, and no attachments for those items are displayed.

This article will show you how to control the publication of unlocked agenda items on the Public Portal.

 

Important Notes

  • Once their associated agenda packet is published, all agenda items (locked or unlocked) are displayed.'
  • Unlocked items remain visible to authorized users in the Admin Portal.

 

Instructions

 

  1. Sign in to the system if you have not already
  2. Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option

  3. Click the Meetings tile

  4. Click the General tile

  5. In the Agenda Defaults section, toggle the Publish Unlocked Agenda Items button to 'Yes' or 'No' as desired

    • Yes: Unlocked items are included as part of the published agenda
    • No: Unlocked agenda items are hidden from the Public Portal, "Agenda Item Pending" placeholder text is shown instead, and no attachments for those items are displayed
  6. Click the Save Changes button

  7. The Publish Unlocked Agenda Items setting has been updated
