Delete a Single Event

This article will show two ways to delete a single event within your Agenda and Meeting Management Select solution.

Delete a Single Event from the Events Module Homepage

 

  1. Sign in to the system if you have not already
  2. Navigate to the Events module
    The Events module option on the left-hand navigation menu.
  3. Select the event you wish to delete
    An example event tile.
  4. Click the Delete button
    The white, rectangular Delete button in the lower-right corner of an example event tile.
  5. Click the Delete Event button to confirm the deletion

    Note: If an agenda is associated with the event, a Delete Event pop-up will appear with additional steps to complete.
    1. Select a deletion option
      Three current event deletion options.
      • Delete the Associated Agenda Including Items and Files Associated with This Event: Delete the event and its agenda, items, files, and media
      • Delete Only the Event and Unlink the Agenda (the Date on the Agenda Will Default to 1/1/1900): Delete the event but retain and unlink the associated agenda (the unlinked agenda date will default to January 1, 1900)
      • Delete Only the Event and Link the Associated Agenda to Another Existing Event: Delete the event and link the agenda to a different event
    2. Click the Delete button

Delete an Event from the Edit Event Pop-Up

 

  1. Sign in to the system if you have not already
  2. Navigate to the Events module
    The Events module option on the left-hand navigation menu.
  3. Select the event you wish to delete
    An example event tile.
  4. Click the Edit Event button
    The purple, rectangular Edit Event button below the User Menu and Application Switcher.
  5. Click the Delete Event button
    The red, rectangular Delete Event button in the lower-left corner of the Edit Event modal.
  6. Click the Delete Event button to confirm the deletion
