The Trash Can feature allows you to restore deleted agendas, items, and events, similar to the Recycle Bin feature on your computer. Deleted content remains in your trash can for 30 days, and within that time frame, you can choose to either Restore or Permanently Delete content. This feature also provides you with a complete record of all deleted content information, including content type, content name, helpful information, who deleted it, when it was deleted, and how many days it will be in the Trash Can. This article will show you how to use the Trash Can feature of your Site Settings.
Instructions
- Sign in to your solution if you have not already
- Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option
- Click the Meetings tile
- Click the Trash Can tile
- Locate the desired Agenda, Item, or Event in the Recently Deleted section
- Click the Restore button (refresh arrow icon) to restore the selection from the Trash Can
- Click the Restore [Content Type] button on the Restore popup that appears to confirm the restorationNote: The restoration of some agendas, items, and events will also require the restoration of other deletions. If this is the case for your selection, a note will appear above the "Restore" button.
- The previously deleted Agenda, Item, or Event will appear in the relevant module
- Click the Restore [Content Type] button on the Restore popup that appears to confirm the restoration
- Click the Permanently Delete button (red trash can icon) to permanently delete your selection from the Trash Can
- Select a deletion option on the Permanently Delete modal, if necessaryNote: Deletion options will only appear if associated agendas, events, and items have also been deleted.
- Click the Delete button to confirm the deletion
- Permanently deleted selections will appear in the Permanently Deleted list
- Select a deletion option on the Permanently Delete modal, if necessary
