This article will show you how to configure Resolution and Ordinance numbering and add it to agendas for the desired Meeting Type.
Important Note
If you utilize item reports that the system generates for your individual resolutions or ordinances and want to update those reports to reflect Resolution and Ordinance Numbering conventions, please contact Support.
Instructions
- Sign in to the system if you have not already
- Navigate to the User Menu, then select the Settings option
- Click the Meetings tile
- Click the General tile
- Scroll to the Resolution and Ordinance Numbering section and configure the settings as desired
- Resolution Start Number: Set the start number for your resolutions
- Resolution Number Format: Set a number format for your resolutions
- Resolution Number Restart: Choose when to restart numbering (Never, at the beginning of the Calendar Year, or with each Fiscal Year)
- Ordinance Start Number: Set the start number for your ordinance
- Ordinance Number Format: Set a number format for your ordinance
- Ordinance Number Restart: Choose when to restart numbering (Never, at the beginning of the Calendar Year, or with each Fiscal Year)
- Click the Save Changes button
- Click the Meetings button in the breadcrumb trail to return to the Meetings Settings page and add Resolution and Ordinance Numbering to the agendas for desired Meeting Types
- Click the Meeting Types tile
- Click the Edit button (purple pencil icon) next to the Meeting Type with the agendas that you wish to add Resolution and/or Ordinance Numbering to
- Scroll to the Item Options section and check the Show Resolution Numbering and/or Show Ordinance Numbering checkboxes as desired
- Click the Save Changes button to save your changes and remain on the Default Settings page, or click the Save and Exit button to save your changes and navigate back to the Meeting Types page
- Repeat steps 9 through 11 for each Meeting Type that you wish to add this numbering system to
