Agenda and Meeting Management Select (formerly CivicClerk) uses dedicated web pages that can be displayed on televisions or monitors in the meeting rooms or chambers. These pages are called Display Pages. With our integrated Display Pages functionality, minutes-takers can either have the display change automatically when the Set Current button is pressed, or they can control the display manually. The following information can be displayed using the display pages functionality:
- A pre-meeting Welcome screen
- The Current Item being discussed
- The Current Speaker and Speaker Timer
- Vote Results once "Saved as Passed" or "Saved as Failed" by the Clerk
To use Display Pages, you must have access to the Minutes module and have the Live Meeting Manager add-on.
Article Navigation
View the Display Pages
Your custom display page URL (uniform resource locator) will be https://clientname.boardportal.civicclerk.com/Display. This will need to be brought up on a computer in your meeting chambers that has the capability to screen share or display content.
When logged into Agenda and Meeting Management Select, you can view the Display Pages by navigating to the User Menu and selecting the Board Portal Display Page option.
Minutes Settings
In Minutes Settings, you can first choose whether you will manually control the Display Pages or whether they will change automatically as you use the Set Current button.
Minutes Summary
You will begin working on your meeting on the Minutes Summary page.
The display indicator in the upper-right corner of the page will always indicate which display page is currently being displayed.
Welcome Screen
The first Display Page that will be shown is the Welcome screen. The Welcome screen will include the text entered into the Welcome Screen Message field on the Meetings Settings page.
The Welcome screen will also include the meeting date and time below your preferred welcome message.
Current Item Screen
You can navigate to an agenda item and click the Set Current button to change the Display Page, or manually select which page you wish to display.
The Display Page will show the name of the item that you are working on.
Speaker Screen
When you add a speaker to an item and start the speaker timer, the Display Page will automatically update to show the name of the item, the speaker name, and the countdown timer.
Motion/Vote Screen
If you wish to update the display page to show a motion that is being considered, you will need to click the Displayed graphic button (computer monitor icon) next to the motion name field within Live Meeting Manager.
The Motion/Vote screen will update to show the motion name.
When you add a motion and either manually add or initiate an electronic vote, the Display Page will show the live vote results only after you select "Save as Passed" or "Save as Failed" on the vote within Live Meeting Manager.
