CivicClerk uses dedicated web pages that can be displayed on televisions or monitors in the meeting rooms or chambers. These pages are called Display Pages. With CivicClerk's integrated Display Pages functionality, minutes-takers can either have the display change automatically when the Set Current button is pressed or can control the display manually. The following information can be displayed using the display pages functionality:
- A pre-meeting welcome screen
- The current item being discussed
- The current speaker and speaker timer
- Vote results once "saved as passed" or "saved as failed" by the Clerk
To use Display Pages, you will need to have permission rights to use the Minutes module.
Your custom display page URL will be https://clientname.civicclerk.com/Boardview/Display. This will need to be brought up on a computer in your meeting chambers that has the capability to screen share or display content.
Minutes Settings
In the Minutes Settings, you can first choose whether you will manually control the display pages or whether they will change automatically as you use the Set Current button.
Minutes Summary
Then navigate to the Minutes Summary to start working in your meeting. The first display page that will be shown is the Welcome Screen. The display indicator in the upper right corner of the page will always indicate which display page is currently being displayed.
