Manage the CivicClerk/Municode Send to Code Integration

Overview  

The CivicClerk/Municode Send to Code Integration allows you to quickly send legislation documentation to your Municode online code of ordinance site for supplementation. This article will show you how to enable or disable the Send to Code Integration per Meeting Type and how to provide users with access to use the integration.

 

Important Notes

  • To configure and use this feature, you must first submit a Support Request for activation. After the feature has been activated, you can proceed with the configuration. Include the following information in your Support Request for quicker activation:

    • The URL to your Municode online code of ordinance (this URL should begin with https://library.municode.com/)

    • The full name of each book/library that you would like to connect to if you have multiple code books/libraries hosted online

    • Confirmation that you would like to enable the optional Public Meetings Page link on the front page of your online code site, which will point to your CivicClerk Public Portal

  • To manage these settings, a user must have the “Has Access to Meetings Site Settings” permission in their User Profile.

 

Manage Integration Activation per Meeting Type

Instructions

  1. Navigate to User Menu > Settings

  2. Select Meetings
    meetings button
  3. Select Meeting Types
    meeting types button
  4. Click Edit (purple pencil icon) next to the desired Meeting Type

  5. Navigate to the MunicodeNEXT section and check the box next to Show MunicodeNEXT to enable the integration, or uncheck the box to disable the integration

  6. Select a Save option
    save changes and save and exit buttons
    • Save Changes: Save your changes and continue configuring the current Meeting Type settings
    • Save and Exit: Save your changes and automatically navigate back to the Meeting Types page

 

Manage User Access to the Integration

Instructions

  1. Navigate to User Menu > Settings

  2. Select User and Global Settings

  3. Select Users

  4. Select Edit (purple pencil icon) next to the User you wish to edit

  5. Scroll down to the Meetings section and navigate to the Access to Codification option

  6. Check the box next to Has Access to Send to Code to allow the selected user to access the integration or uncheck this box to disable their access

  7. Select Save Changes
